چکیده

The paper presents an analytical solution for the non-isothermal compressible gas flow in a slide microbearing with different temperatures of walls. is defined by Navier-Stokes-Fourier system continuum equations and first order boundary conditions. Knudsen number corresponds to slip (Kn ≤ 10 −1 ) Reynolds moderately high, so inertia needs be included. obtained perturbations approximation that relates second one involves second-order effects: rarefaction, inertia, convection, dissipation, rate at which work done compressing element fluid. presented model analyzes influence dependence transport coefficients on temperature. pressure, velocity, temperature approved comparison results other authors. microbearings can often part MEMS, method serve solving similar shear-driven or pressure-driven problems. gives estimation about error values mass load capacity if are neglected.

1D compressible flow with temperature dependent transport coefficients

We establish existence of global-in-time weak solutions to the one dimensional, compressible Navier-Stokes system for a viscous and heat conducting ideal polytropic gas (pressure p = Kθ/τ , internal energy e = cvθ), when the viscosity μ is constant and the heat conductivity κ depends on the temperature θ according to κ(θ) = κ̄θ , with 0 ≤ β < 3 2 . This choice of degenerate transport coefficient...

Investigation of influential factors on well temperature for gas-liquid two-phase flow in under-balanced drilling operation

Analysis of the drilling fluid temperature due to heat transfer of drilling fluid with the formation in under-balanced drilling operation is the main objective of this study. Gas-liquid two-phase flow model considering thermal interaction with the formation is used to numerically simulate a well with real dimensions. In the present study, the continuity, momentum, and energy equations are devel...

the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...

Temperature dependence of fluid transport in nanopores.

Understanding the temperature-dependent nanofluidic transport behavior is critical for developing thermomechanical nanodevices. By using non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations, the thermally responsive transport resistance of liquids in model carbon nanotubes is explored as a function of the nanopore size, the transport rate, and the liquid properties. Both the effective shear stress an...

Temperature Dependence of Transport Coe cients in

We apply the mu n-tin e ective medium approximation to calculate the temperature dependence of the resistivity and thermopower of amorphous and liquid metals. The results show unambiguously that a large resistivity is accompanied by a negative temperature coe cient, in agreement with the experimental situation. This behavior is shown to result from a pseudo-gap which opens in the one-particle s...
